Turki Alturaifi Recognized in 2025 CAS Future Leaders Top 100 Program

We are proud to announce that graduate student Turki Alturaifi has been selected for the 2025 CAS Future Leaders Top 100 program. This prestigious initiative by CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, recognizes early-career scientists from around the world who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and scientific achievement.

As part of the Top 100 cohort, Turki joins a select group of Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars chosen from a record-breaking pool of global applicants. The program provides exclusive leadership training, career support, and lifetime membership in the CAS Future Leaders Community.

Turki, who joined the Liu Group in 2021 after earning his B.S. from Colorado State University, has made significant contributions to computational organic chemistry. His research integrates quantum mechanics with data science to accelerate reaction discovery. This recognition by CAS highlights not only Turki's technical expertise in computational modeling and cheminformatics but also his potential as a future leader in the scientific community.
